Beginners BJJ for those who want to learn the foundations. 

Like chess, you will learn how to think several moves ahead to out manoevre your opponent. The options are infinite and everyone finds their own style depending on body type, flexibilty and coordination. 

It offers an incredible way to focus the mind and create a meditative state.

Sebastian has trained in BJJ for twelve years and received his black belt from Roger Gracie who is largely considered to be the greatest BJJ practioner of all time.

No matter what your current fitness level is like, you can give BJJ a go.

You may be looking through the pages on this website and end up feeling a little confused. Custom motorbikes, yoga, BJJ, spoon carving, drawing......gigs?! What exactly is this place you ask. Well, it's a space where multiple creative and movement based industries come together for people to teach, to learn new skills, to connect with others who have the same interests and views of the world but also with others who don't. 

The connection between these industries and activities is the potential to positively affect our mental health and help sustain mind and body. 

Lions' Den London is a place where we value creativity, curiosity and a desire to make a difference. 

It is also a place where we believe hard work and accountability are factors in making these changes alongside care and compassion. 

We look forward to seeing you come take part in something here at the den.

What is Lions' Den London?

On Sunday 25th we celebrated the beginnings of Lions' Den London by opening our doors, enjoying some incredible food, drink and the beautiful work of various artists and makers. 

A monthly makers market is something that we'd very much like to run here at Lions' Den so this was a test of how that might work. It was a great success and so we will announce some future dates soon. 

Thanks to everyone who came and shared this with us. And thanks to the makers, artists, cooks and helpers. Couldn't have done it without you.  Looking forward to future events and classes featuring these talented people.
